Some time since having been to Solihull but can recommend the pastries and snacks...very pleasant relaxed atmosphere....very popular locally...
Wedges Bakery in Olton is the best local place for lunch, brunch or catch up over a cuppa and cake. Portions are generous and atmosphere is friendly. Wedges sell lovely cakes and bread (my favourite is sun dry tomatoes and cheese one).They have highchairs and good changing facilities so you can enjoy your sandwich with a little one.
They have a great selection of delicious food. I paid 4 for a bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich on granary bread which was really filling - helped by the fact that they were generous with the ingredients. Well worth the money!
Love this place, good food and drink, great friendly staff. Always busy so can't be just me who thinks so!
Fast service and friendly staff. The sandwiches are good sized too. I waited for my order to be completed and watched the amount of people in the shop ordering food and drinks. There was an organised manner in the way staff were working, clean and also made customers feel welcome. Would recommend and have used several times already
