Very nice environment. Plenty of seating when we got there around lunchtime. The food was good and brought to the table very quickly from initially ordering at the bar. Recommended.
Good local public house. Reasonable choice of proper beers. Never eaten here but other people's food looks good! Good and efficient staff.
Convenient pub in convenient location. Nothing to write home about. Typical chain. No atmosphere. Average food. But if all you want is to drink beer, what more do you need?
Was there today celebrating a family occasion, Party of 22. Staff were brilliant, really friendly and helpful, food was great. Really enjoyed the whole experience.
Very friendly staff. Good selection of vegetarian dishes. Our first course (garlic mushrooms) was barely warm but still nice. Main courses were nice but were let down by the vegetables which were very very chewy. The green beans would have been useful if you had broken a shoe lace. It seemed busy which would excuse the long wait for the food if not for the fact that obvious regular customers had their food within minutes.
