Very disappointed by the service , dentists are not competent enough to make correct diagnosis and provide treatment .Seen by one dentist and was referred to the hygenisits for cleaning and was told no other problem .Hygienists after cleaning my teeth advised for cavity filling as he was himself surprised that why I have not been told by the dentist for so apparently seen cavity. I Had to go on holidays so couldn't book again in the same week .After arriving back straightaway booked myself for the filling and despite telling the dentist myself the exact sites needed filling I was initially told it's a stain and will go off with cleaning and no filling needed and after struggling hard to remove the stains with his instruments he realised he is wrong and without informing me what he is doing started the fillings. Assistant was more focused on her hair styling and make up rather than using suction. I am very unhappy for the treatment I received and would not recommend this surgery.I not only have to pay for the surgery charges but also the parking charges each time making these appointments and I am not getting what I am paying for. Dentist asks you to book with hygenist and hygenist asks u rebook with dentist .My previous dentist in different town always did the complete job in one setting and never left scaling polish for hygienist although he was very senior and experienced than these dentist.
called today for a consultation, and been asked without any concerns about the nature of my problem to pay a 25 upfront for it, but they were unable to give me an exact time for the consultation they were asking an upfront payment for!? This was enough info to understand their ''professionalism'' . Not sure what would happen after the consultation or when you're caught with their ongoing treatment. If trying to review their services on the clinic webpage, you are sent on google(here), but none of the reviews posted on their page are not in here!? hmmm....wonder how this works!
I lost a filling a few days before I was due to go on holiday The reception staff were so sympathetic and arranged an appointment for me the next day, The dentist Dr Lidda was just wonderful and replaced the rather large filling. Considering I was an emergency appointment he treated me with great kindness and skill. Well done Solihull Dental Practice.
