My dog loves this place, its the one shop he can enter with me and the staff always make a fuss of him. Pets at home is not necessarily the cheapest place to shop but they have by far the best range of products.
Used to be a great place a few years ago when Chris managed it . Not sure who the manager is now, but current staff seem to care more about their eyebrows than customers. They're either plain rude or ignore you. It seems 99% off the staff Chris had left shortly after him. Can't say I blame them. I used to go weekly with my dog, now it's when I'm desperate.
Looking to buy some new fish. Had a lengthy and really interesting / informative chat with a new member of staff called called Sarah. She was knowledgeable interesting passionate and a massive asset to the store . I shall be buying the recommended fish at the weekend. Wish all staff in all shops were this nice and pleasant.
Purchased a collar for my dog along with other items totalling over 40 so used my VIP voucher for 5 off. Unfortunately the collar was a little big so asked to exchange for a smaller one. This wasn't a problem the smaller collar was the same price but as I used my 5 voucher off the day before I had to pay extra for the collar. Surely this is wrong as it was the same price!
Great store! Managed to get lots of treats for our puppy and a great selection of puppy related items. Really friendly staff.
