Quick and efficient staff know there stuff
Member of staff didn't seem bothered when we visited for a quote. Wrote basic details on a business cardTook our business to another travel agent who was very friendly and helpful
Whilst reading this bare in mind I am so fussy and always make the mistake of interfering with suggestions on travel - I can't help myself... comparing costs of flights, journey times and length of stop overs etc..However last year our family travelled to Australasia and we booked flights via Travelbag, a simple process you would have thought but as I suggested I like to pick on the detail..Well we made the right choice popping into our Solihull Branch and speaking to Lucian.. a mild mannered and very patient individual, knowledgeable and professional - a great listener and eager to accommodate our needs, flying into one location, departing from a another, oh boy did I mess about but after a couple of visits to the store a few emails and some phones calls and he absolutely nailed it!What a great surprise it was as well to find ourselves booked in to the upper deck of the A380.. great experience - he really does go that extra mile.. So impressed were we that we have returned again to book a complete package this time round - can't say too much about it as it is a surprise for the kids but we will elaborate perhaps in another review upon our return.Lucian is a superb advocate for Travelbag and it's great talking to someone who reassures you with both experience and honesty!Really looking forward now to our next trip... hope my review helps?
Tried to rearrange a flight to a different day, seems pretty simple for a big company like this (considering its a few clicks with airlines)? Well no; back and forth 3 days in a row, having to check my email every 3 hours with no reply for 72 hours, in the end i had to call from abroad to their HQ which cost me a small fortune only to be told "its a bit late now to change flights". I then had to tweet to them to make their mistake public. Then finally after 4 days which i could have been relaxing I finally get through to the manager who changed it on the spot.Thanks for ruining my last four days in Dubai Travelbag. In return all I received was a copy and pasted letter saying "sorry" at the end from one of your so called managers. Absolute Disgrace.
The staff here were so helpful when booking my holiday I couldn't thank them enough as I had the best time of my life!!
