So I don't normally write reviews, but just feel I have to share with you all what an amazing experience I have just had with a facial. Firstly iv had many facials some good some indifferent, but the one I had with Ian was second to none. On entering the room, I was taken back with such lovely smells and a feeling of comfort and luxury. In fact I wish I was back there now!! Im not sure if its the combination of him being male, with such a gentle but very frim facial massage included, or the fact that I felt so very calm, extremely focused and centred afterwards. Its something which I really didn't expect and found the combination a perfect balance. Ian is very thorough and my facial never felt rushed, along with my skin positively glowing at the end. Ian has the ability to gain great rapport with his customers and instinctively gets what they are looking for, I can only urge you all to treat yourselves to a truly holistic experience. The best facial and money iv ever spent and will defiantly be returning.Huge thanks Ian x
Had a visit to Ian yesterday in the morning.I was greeted with a beautiful, warm,quiet ( You wouldn't know there was a salon downstairs ) and relaxing treatment room, there were gorgeous smelling candles ( Which you can actually buy, since they are his own make! ) , dim lights and soothing music. Ian was super professional and made me feel really comfortable and relaxed and explained exactly what the treatments I was having entailed ( Aromatherapy Massage & Steam Facial ) After describing my skin type and issues ( oily combination, and a bit spotty! ) and filling out a client consultation form. The massage itself was fantastic. Ian took much care in custom blending amazing essential oils to create a really enjoyable aroma experience to relax me, and help soothe my shoulder pains. His technique was brilliant, and just the right pressure while you lay in a beautiful and comfortable bed of fluffy and warm plush blankets ( No crinkly paper roll like the doctors office! ) On top of feeling super relaxed and mentally at ease, My neck and shoulders now feel absolutely amazing! Then we moved onto the facial. Ian made a customised skin regimen of products just for me, he uses Eve Taylor and Tropics products. Which all feel and smell brilliant. My favourite product used was the Tropics citrus scrub, smelled phenomenal and worked a treat to get rid of the dry flaky skin around my ' T-zone' area. On top of your usual techniques, I was treated to a gorgeous face, neck and shoulder massage, hot towels and steam, and pore cleansing. Ian took great care that I was comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire time, ensuring I was really getting the most out of my treatment, even massaging me arms, neck and shoulders whilst waiting for my face mask to set. All the products are super light, and not oily or sticky at all. The process left me with a gorgeous glow, and left me feeling pampered stress free and beautiful. I even got compliments the next day at work about my skin! All in all I had a lovely experience! I would definitely ( and already have done ) recommend to anyone, and purchase treatments as gifts in the future as it was such an enjoyable experience! 5/5*!
