Great natural park and nature reserve. Superb hills to play on in the summer or to toboggan down in the winter snow. Take care not to climb back up the slopes where sledges are coming down. A restored walled garden with fruit trees, a garden pool and bee hives. Plenty of conker trees along the road to the church. Beacon point by the church. Something for everyone.
Fabulous park. Something for everyone from woods and play area to unspoilt fields, and an old walled garden, majestic grass slopes, pond with wildlife, ducks and swans. It's much much bigger than it looks from either car park and stretches right across to the airport boundary.
Fantastic dog walking park but goes much further than that.Huge amount of history attached to the grounds and the remains of a fabulous walled garden.There is even a large flock of green parakeets resident.
Such a fantastic open space to visit, it has spaces for everyone - playgrounds, lakes, fantastic walks, a stunning little church and SO MUCH history. You'll be surprised at what you can find out at the park about local history and there are often guided walks to point out fascinating insight into the families that lived there! What a wonderful place to spend time!!!!
Terrific place to enjoy the great outdoors. This is a very nice park there are two large ponds that you can walk around and there are plenty of paths to take you around without having to get covered in mud. There is a play area and tennis courts. At the back of the park there is a lovely nature reserve.
