Better than heartlands!
If it was possible to leave no stars I would. Do not bring your partner here if she is pregnant and would like the baby checked out as concerned parents. I bought my partner to the hospital to get checked out as she received trauma, as soon as we arrived at reception we was told we could not be seen, after telling them that we have received no nhs treatment or explained why we haven't had a midwife throughout my partners pregancy so far. They agreed for a nurse to see us, followed by a doctor. The nurse seen us who said because we are moving out the area there is no point getting treated. I demanded my partner was seen and not fobbed off by the NHS again. We arrived there at 9:30 at 12:00pm after asking when my partner will be seen three times I was directed to speak to the nurses who again fobbed myself and my partner off which left my partner in great distress I advised them that she would have a break down and she hasn't had anything to eat. The nurse said well you should of got her something and was very rude at this point my partner broke down completely in tears and I said she suffers with anxiety the nurses laughed in her face. I mentioned how they have put our unborn child at risk and the nurse said I'm not dealing with you and walked away. The doctor then proceeded to talk to the nurses for twenty minutes walked in the room and said they would not be able to check our babies health at all, although they have more then enough equipment and a maternity ward on site. They asked my partner to be seen on her own, but due to her anxiety and although my partner requested she wouldn't be seen without me she was laughed at again. We left the hospital without being seen and with my partner in total distress completely broken down. Abosultely disgraceful lack of care and to laugh in a patient's face because she struggles with anxiety and to walk away from two concerned parents, you should be ashamed and contemplate a new career. You left a couple worried and upset about thier child and having to pay 100 pound for another scan which now totals 300 pound on private scans because of your lack of care.
Last night after 6:30pm drove my niece there for an urgent primary care due to asthma attack.Park my car in the parking, then after an hour we been told to go to Heartlands AE, ask my struggling and in pain niece to wait in the car while I pay the parking charges.Went to Pay station when I realised I have no cash with me (it will be soon one of my worst mistakes and nightmare I will never forget). I was little worried when saw the sign that the machine will only accept cash, and if you want to pay by card you need to go to main entrance, I immediately go to main entrance but the problem becomes a nightmare because the card payment machine is out of order and damaged. Then went to near by another payment machine it is also damaged and out of order. Went to main entrance parking lot pay station, even though that machine do have cardless payment system but it wasnt working.Now Im in serious trouble, my in pain niece waiting in the car and Im running around struggling to pay parking charges by card. I have been told that only one cash withdraw machine which is in the main entrance but it is closed after 6pm.I call ambulance to take my niece to heartlands hospital and then begged a stranger for couple of quids so I could pay the parking charges.Learned the lesson very hard way, never trust these outsourced companies like G4S to look after all the facilities which is available but not working.
I visited the day surgery unit yesterday. A very friendly and efficient team. Ridiculous as it might appear I enjoyed the experience. All was explained thoroughly to give one confidence and you felt you were going to be well looked after which indeed was the case. I was back home within a few hours with excellent mobility and no pain which must be a credit to the surgeon and his colleagues and to the service offered by this excellent hospital.
I got knocked of my push bike just outside dickens Heath adjacent to sears retail park. I went to the place what used to be a&e and I have to say they were all 1st class , especially to 2 ladies and reception. Well done - keep up the hard work.
