Absolutely shocking company. Eager to let the property and get you in. When I checked out I had to go to the Branch after two weeks to chase the check out report. This then took another two weeks to receive. They then said they are deducting 150 for a 'deep clean' that was required and sent a few photos. I requested the check in photos as the property was thoroughly cleaned before I moved out. Had to then chase again to get the check-in photos sent and advised that I would go to the deposit ombudsman scheme. I was advised that before that I would need to follow the internal complaints procedure, which involves two internal reviews before I can go to the ombudsman. I then suggested that this would take another one or two months and the person at the other end of the phone cheerfully said yes, knowing that my deposit could therefore be held up for at least that length of time.****I would NOT recommend this company at all.****
If you have an option to avoid this company than please do. Extremely unprofessional and incompetent. Never reply to the emails or phone calls. We rented a house more than 2 months ago, the problems we identified before moving into the house have still not been addressed. We had to call their rental service line couple of times to notify about these problems, they say that we can't help as no inventory has been uploaded on the system yet. We rung the Solihull branch multiple times about the lack of inventory and the problems, they promise to get back to us ASAP but they never do. So after 2.5 months we still don't have the inventory and no issue has been addressed. They cannot even correct the mistake in initial rental agreement which were pointed out before signing the agreement. Absolute shambles.

I don't normally review things very often, but people are always quick to moan about service, and being a tenant of john shepherd is personally the best thing i have decided to do Me and my children are very happy here!
