The food and service was ok. Didn't enjoy the room, it had single glazed windows and we were kept awake all night by the road noise.

Nice hotel, comfortable bed, but disappointed the bathroom doesn't lock, handle was missing from one of the wardrobe doors, shower head is fitted a bit low so tall people have to crouch to get the water on their face and head.Breakfast was decent, only criticism was the hash browns weren't crispy because of the condensation in the warming tray - be better putting a rack in the tray to keep them dry and crisp.

Check in was quick and friendly. Fair size room, however wall paper was peeling off and carpets are fraying. No plug sockets by the bed, which can be frustrating.Ordered room service, again staff were great, however the food was horrible, not sure how you can mess up a flat bread pizza, however the dough was still raw. The bed was so uncomfortable, they're very very cheap miracoil mattresses, if you suffer with back problems or are pregnant I suggest you book elsewhere.

Love this hotel, stayed here a few times now and it's always comfortable. The staff are always polite and super helpful, the leisure centre is included in price and with the promotion breakfast was included too. Food was hot and filling. Room was slightly warm, did let them know heating was on excessively bit the room was perfect and comfortable otherwise.

Having stayed here several times in the last couple of years, i really want to like this hotel. The staff are generally friendly & polite and as they allow dogs in some rooms, its great for us!But, the beds are just awful in every room i have stayed in. The garden rooms have double beds with mattresses that.slope into the middle, bounce and have springs or hard somethings poking through. On the 3rd floor, we had a big room with a massive bed but still rubbish mattresses.Plus, the noise levels can be a bit much. On at least 3 occasions, we have been disturbed by noise, including this morning being woken after a bad nights sleep by one of the domestic stfmaff knocking on the door at 9.15am. Having a late checkout is a bit pointless if you are going to be disturbed anyway.Overall, the place needs some investment - the decor is tired but most importantly, the beds are just SO uncomfortable. We have reached the point where we wont book again, even though we love the garden room idea. I am surprised by the lack of investment given that it is part of Corus.
